Northern Mexico Vacation Packages

It was a good experience except for one strange situation. We were enjoying a beer on the balcony after a long day of travelling and the manager knocked on the door and told us that we could not have beer in our room or on the balcony. After travelling throughout Mexico and many other parts of the world, I have never heard of such a hotel regulation. It made us very uncomfortable for the rest of the stay. At one point, we noticed a hotel employee searching another guest’s cooler. Very strange! The room was good except there was no closet or hooks to hang clothes.

Place is ok, I felt like I spent more time walking the halls back and forth because of them giving me a dead phone so I couldn't call reception(long halls and up and down elevators). TV remotes are held at reception and we didn't know so walked to reception got it and walked all the way to my room and it didn't work. Then after going dancing get back to my room at midnight key not working(more walking) then at 5am, I had loud neighbors training boxing, loud kids swimming in the bathtub, screaming down hallways and balcony to hear their echo and I walked to reception again to change rooms at 9am, I was told I had to check out at 11am from old room and return at 2pm for my new room, get new room and no remote again. Went to a tour at 9am during our stay and returned at 3pm, room was still dirty so because we needed to shower lady came during our shower and just gave us towels. Room was never cleaned during our 3 night stay because of how late they would show up. My throw blanket was stained and dirty on the first room. Water in the pools was so warm we stuck with the ocean it was a little cooler. The money exchange lady at the resort was rude and will try to charge you more(like 9 times more) then the ATM machine 30feet away that unless you ask she won't mention.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially the valet service guy. The room was clean and our view from the balcony was very nice. The pool areas were maintained well even the bathroom. We didn't try the restaurant, but I bet it would have been good. The waiter serving drinks at the pool was friendly and checked on us when he had a chance. Overall it was a great experience. I definitely recommend, especially if you find a great deal on the price like we did!

We got to the hotel and we tried to do an early check in and the room was not available. They said no problem, we process everything and we were told that we can use all the hotel amenities. We were told come back and your room will be ready, I mentioned the Gold Status in Expedia and was given with a great welcome! An upgrade to Ocean View, Wine with glasses, music in the room (from the TV, and for me it was an excellent touch) late check and none whatsoever pressure to buy any timeshare! The hotel sits in front of the beach, alongside with being able to go from resort to resort, there are many establishments near by that we took advantage. The buffet was good. We went to the pool on Saturday and were greeted by Blanquita! Awesome energy as we did water aerobics! Jose Raul from the buffet place was very attentive all our stay. Of course we were told that if we needed anything to let them know and was given the list of events and the specialty restaurants. It was a great place in which we certainly will come back again! This was our second time staying here. Oh, got the all inclusive and comes with room service, which we did not take advantage as we had activities planned with another group in another place that they were staying.

Staff was Not attentive-especially at Kelly’s bar. Everything was closed by 10pm-
